These terms govern your use of ScanYourSite, operated by Eugen Yushkevich, an individual based in Spain ([OWNER: NIF and postal address in Spain]). By using the service you accept them. Contact: support@scanyoursite.app.
The service
ScanYourSite checks websites for security, speed, search visibility, accessibility and legal hygiene, explains what it finds and can monitor a site on a schedule and send alerts. The basic check makes only the requests an ordinary browser or search crawler makes. The extended check runs only after you confirm ownership of the domain.
Your responsibilities
- Run the extended check only on domains you own or are authorised by the owner to test. You confirm this each time you verify a domain, and we keep a record of that confirmation.
- Do not use the service to attack, overload or harass any site, to bypass our limits or to resell access without our written consent.
- Keep access to your email account secure: it is the key to your ScanYourSite account.
Site owners can ask us to stop checking their domain at /bot. We may suspend checks, monitors or accounts that break these terms or that we receive credible abuse complaints about.
Plans and payment
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans (Pro and Business) are priced on the site per month. When you subscribe by card, the subscription is sold by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record and reseller: Polar charges you, handles taxes and issues the invoice, and its buyer terms also apply. A subscription renews every month until you cancel it; after cancelling, the plan stays active until the end of the paid month. A paid plan can also be activated with a one-time activation code that gives your account the plan for the stated number of days (usually 30); a code can be redeemed once, by one account. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
Results
Checks are automated. They can miss problems and can report issues that turn out to be harmless; explanations and fixes are written by an AI model and can contain mistakes. Review a fix before applying it. The service does not replace a professional security audit.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer.
Ending the service
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end the service with 30 days’ notice by email; prepaid time that is left will be refunded.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of Spain. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and can bring a claim in its courts. We will publish changes on this page with a new date and announce significant changes by email.
